Sales Kick Offs

It’s that time of year where sales teams are heading to kickoff meetings and summits. Everyone’s getting together, planning the year, talking strategy and setting goals.
My life looks a little different. I’m a sales team of one. No big meetings. No breakout sessions. No team dinners. Just me, a notebook, a calendar, and a lot of thinking about where to focus my time and energy.
Some weeks it’s difficult. There’s no one else to pass the ball to. No collaboration from shared experiences. It provides clarity. I have to be intentional with my time, priorities, and the relationships I invest in.
But there’s also something really humbling about it. I own everything. The execution and the results. Wins feel earned. Losses force me to rethink and adjust.
Whether you’re part of a big team or building it solo. Here’s to a new year! The approach may be different, but the goal is the same: Show up, add value and build real relationships.
